Secure and efficient – Power resistors and low ohmic shunts for consumers and industry
(IINews) - In our modern world we are all dependent on complicated technologies but know in fact not much about them. In the fascinating world of electronic applications some very little products control the safe running of the electric circuit in highly complicated environments, like the BMS Batterymanagement System. There are all kinds of resistors and electrical shunts available on the market, with the power meter shunt and the low ohmic shunt being the most popular and trusted ones as they can be instantly adjusted to various surroundings. An unobtrusive item like the power resistor can accomplish miracles in difficult kinds of conditions ranging from a simple driving application to a complicated manufacturing assembly station. Moreover there are fine-tuned models which can handle certain more complex conditions, like areas with very low voltage or high inductance. The best in this group are the electrical SMD Resistor and the High Precision Resistor which both do a great job in managing electric current inside challenging environments. Together with the more popular hybrid mounting resistors, these little products can be manufactured to very specific demands, and some manufacturers even offer resistors for precision current sensing, which are typically needed in tough and difficult environments. While a common current resistor can handle driving, clinical or consumer applications, a precision current sensing resistor would be perfect for use in highly precise industrial products. Even such day-to-day goods like personal computers, notebooks or smartphones depend on little helpers like a low ohm resistor. SMD resistors and electrical shunts can be found in nearly everything we use in our daily lives. And even those pieces at home or in the office that are far from keeping an electric circuit within them, are quite likely to have been processed by machines that depend on them.
