yourfamily nominated for HOT BIRD TV Award
(LifePR) - Your Family Entertainment (YFE) AG's own kids and family channel yourfamily has been nominated for this years HOT BIRD TV Award, supported by Eutelsat in association with the European film festival Eurovisioni and the trade fair Sat Expo. The award will be presented November 19 at a gala event in Venice. This year, 150 channels of all genre from 21 countries have applied for the prestigious award.
The prize will be awarded in 11 categories. For each, three channels have been nominated by an international jury headed by Danilo Giammaria (RAI). Yourfamily is competing in the kids category with the Bararem channel from Quatar and the Italian public kids channel Rai Gulp.

We are competing with strong national kids brands. However, our nomination proves that the quality of our yourfamily channel is recognized internationally."

The company formally known as RTV Family Entertainment has its roots in the traditional games and book editor Ravensburger AG. Since 1980 YFE has built a library of over 3,500 half hours of animation and family classics. The yfe owned digital pay tv channel yourfamily can be accessed via cable, IPTV and DTH platforms such as Kabelkiosk, Unitymedia, Kabel BW, Vodafone Digital TV, UPC Austria, Swisscom TV and others. In France yourfamily is part of the SFR offer, a joint venture of Vivendi and Vodafone and of the 'free" platform. The mobile yourfamily channel and its spin off Cosmo&Wanda and Country Mouse&City Mouse are available via the Austrian mobile platform 3.
